Do I require travel insurance?

SGI has public liability insurance. However, we would advise you have your own personal travel insurance.

Are the match tickets included in the price?

Unfortunately, the match ticket prices are NOT INCLUDED in the price.

What meals are provided?

Breakfast and evening meals are include unless stated otherwise. Any dietary requirements must be supplied ahead of the trip commencing. Please note provision of evening meal maybe change due to the logistics of the schedule.

Can I drink the water?

Yes so players bring your water bottles.

What will we do when we are there?

A detailed itinerary will be given to your coach, who will explain all the unforgettable experience you will have.

Will I be able to talk to people back home while in the UK?

You will have the opportunity to use Wifi for services like face time and skype. But why not go old school and send a postcard back home.

How much money will I need to bring with me?

There will be opportunity to buy gifts and you will have down time. However, we suggest that you speak to your coach about this.

What surfaces will we train/play on?

Mainly grass but maybe all weather surface.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Across the UK, March temperatures average a daily high of 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit) and a low of 3 °C (37 °F).

Will we be given free time/downtime?

The schedule is a football schedule and will be busy however there will allocate free time within the schedule

The responsibility for the players during our stay is with whom?

Parents and Coaches are fully responsible for all party members under the age of 18 for the duration of the trip. You are therefore required to obtain parental authority from the parent/guardian of every travelling minor if required before departure.

Where do we go when we arrive in the UK?

The SGI Experience representative will be waiting at the Airport 

What will the schedule look like?

The SGI Experience schedule will provide to your club organiser before you travel. The schedule will be subject to change depending on circumstance. However we will endeavour to keep to the schedule whenever possible. 

What happens if I leave something in the UK?

It will be sent back however you will have to cover the cost.

Does SGI take photographs and videos?

We regularly take photographs and videos for both promotional and training purposes, if you do not want your child to appear in these you must email admin@sgism.co.uk
